"Oct. 3, 2011. The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Teaching and Club Professional
(T&CP) membership has selected Susan Claycomb-Crowley, The Peninsula Golf and Country Club, San Mateo, California, Teacher of the Year.
The award winners were selected by the LPGA T&CP membership's Executive Committee from the pool of sectional award winners voted on by
the members of the five regional sections: Central, Midwest, Northeast, Southeast and Western."

Susan Crowley, the LPGA National Teacher of the Year for 2011, is the Director of Instruction at Peninsula Golf and Country Club in San Mateo, California.
She has more than thirteen years experience
teaching and club fitting players of all levels. Susan started playing
golf at age 6, with her parents. She played on the AJGA junior tour, then
furthered her playing career at the University of South Carolina–Coastal.
Susan feels lucky to be in the golf business and to teach the game that has given her so many opportunities.
She enjoys teaching men, women, and junior players of all levels.
Her goal is to help her students improve and have fun in the process.
Susan works for the LPGA as a National Evaluator and Educator for aspiring LPGA instructors.
She also has the distinction of being named one of the top ten Teaching Professionals in Northern California by Nor Cal Golf Guide.
She has created two special programs that are designed to meet the needs of women players, Golf FORE Women 101, and Women on the Tee 102.
Making the game of Golf fun is her first priority.
